Nice looking restaurant from the outside with parking for a few cars, i imagine on a weekend these will fill up quickly but there is additional parking across the road in the CoOp car park and round the corner in front of the pub.

The restaurant is comfortable with a clean and modern decor. I was impressed with the high quality cutlery which was clean and proudly displays their logo.

Beers were cold and although nothing was available on draught all the usual suspects were present. My only complaint was halfway through my beer was poured for me which whilst i can appreciate the restaurant wants us to drink more it unfortunately makes me feel as though I am being rushed. Had I been asked I would have refused. Not the end of the world I know but annoying none the less.

Unfortunately the service lets this restaurant down. The waiters were polite but didn’t really make us feel that welcome. We got the feeling at times they had forgotten we were there. Not the worst service I have received but certainly not the best.

There was a great menu with lots to choose from.

The starters and poppadoms were hot, fresh and tasty although the portions seemed a bit small.

I requested a bit more heat with my dish and was very pleased with it when it was served. Our main courses were all very good and decent sized portions.

Overall a very nice restaurant which made for a pleasant evening, with only the service lacking slightly. I’m not sure if I would come again though as there didn’t seem to be anything particularly outstanding that would make me want to return.

Based on: 2x poppodoms, 1x condiment, 1x main dish, 1x rice, 1x side, 1x naan, 1x beer.

Chap 4 Review:

The Chaps' rode again on their normal Monday evening excursion, and a very warm welcome to new Chilli Chap No. 4 who joined the team.

Well the Indo; a nice clean modern restaurant with an attractive LED waterfall setting as the main feature that's really nicely done.

Our starters and poppadoms were of a high quality; a good range of beers but always disappointed when there is no draught as an option.

The main courses were well prepared and tasty, however some of my lamb was a bit tough which disappointed me slightly.

The overall service was OK, however there did seem a bit of ambivalence to our being there, with no real effort made to engage with us and make an effort by the Staff.

A pleasant experience and I'd go back for sure though.

Being  a semi-regular to Indo, I was looking forward to give it the Chilli Chaps experience.

The curb side appeal looks good, and I feel the decor was simple but nice.
Although the food was of a good standard it was let down by the service of the front of house staff as they seemed not to be over bothered on if we were there or not as there was little interaction.

Having had good experiences at this restaurant I would recommend on a busy night for the full Indo feel.
Overall I feel it was pleasant but a bit lacking in areas.

An inviting looking restaurant from the outside which is continued upon walking through the front door with an led waterfall behind the bar and clean modern décor.

The starters were tasty and poppodoms warm and crisp, although I was slightly disappointed with the quality of the condiments.

The range of main courses was very good with decent size portions and packed with flavour. The range of beer was excellent with Tiger, Cobra and Kingfisher all available but unfortunately were only offered in bottles not on draft.

The staff were pleasant without really ever going out of their way to make you feel valued at any stage.

In summary a lovely restaurant, some of the main dishes maybe slightly over priced compared to other restaurants visited, but lovely decor and good food,  worth a visit.
